In order to activate and register PEP Stations, Internet connectivity must be established.

The PEP Station is designed and engineered for direct connection to the Internet. Therefore, there is no need to make changes to your existing local area network. The PEP Station only requires an Ethernet connection.

The necessary Internet connection can be provided via a dedicated line from an Internet Service Provider, a DMZ (demilitarized zone) on an existing router, or for larger installations a separate corporate subnet may be established that it is excluded from any proxy servers or firewalls.

Credit card Internet Payment Gateway services ensure transactions are processed safely and securely using the latest standards of encryption and transmission.

Around the clock monitoring of the PEP Station is provided by Diebold, Incorporated, utilizing state of the art software and reporting tools to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
