Cellular and Wi-Fi Communications for the PS2000

PEPAdvantage™ cellular and Wi-Fi solutions for the PS2000 allow secure Internet access in locations where running hard-wired Ethernet cable is not a viable option, or where company policy does not allow connection of the PEP Station to the corporate network.

A cellular or Wi-Fi router installed near, but external to, the PEP Station provides the Internet connection. The router and enclosure can be post or wall mounted and two PEP Stations can share one router. If using the cellular solution, the installation kit comes fully provisioned and configured for service from an industry leading cellular provider. No other customer involvement in networking or cellular provisioning is required. If using the Wi-Fi solution, the PEP Stations provided router will communicate back to a local, customer provided wireless hotspot.
